Trip to the Zoo

We went to the Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines this past weekend with Regina's parents and our niece and nephew. It was a good day for a visit to the zoo. It was sunny out but not too hot. Isaac enjoyed the trip and Caleb slept the whole time in his stroller.

Above is a picture of Isaac and me inside the Prairie Dog lookout. You can crawl through a pipe and get to the inside of the display and see the prairie dogs better.

This is Isaac with his cousins, Garret and Alyssa. They are in front of an aquarium.

Regina took this picture this week. Caleb has started to smile. This is Caleb showing off his smile to everyone.

Weekend

This past weekend my parents and grandparents came to visit and see Isaac and Caleb. Both boys had fun and it was good to see everyone. The boys are now getting caught up from missing their naps and getting back into a schedule. Caleb is doing better at sleeping through the night, but some improvement in going to sleep at night is still needed. He is a little fussy on some nights. Below are some photos from the last couple of weeks.

Caleb Update and Swimming

We haven't posted since we returned from the hospital with Caleb. It has been 6 weeks at home now. We have been getting a little sleep. Caleb went through a time period where he was awake and fussy from about 8 pm until 2 am. Recently we decided to stop giving him gas drops and now he is a lot less fussy. He is growing and doing well. Below is a picture of the family when we left the hospital. Picture of Caleb at home.

Above is a picture of Isaac swimming with me. He had swimming lessons the last 4 weeks. He is doing pretty well in the pool and likes to play in the water. Here he is kicking while I pull him in the water. When you do something he doesn't want he will tell you "no".

Above is a picture of Regina's 3 boys. Isaac now almost says Caleb's name. It comes out more like Cayba. It is pretty funny. Isaac continues to repeat our words and say more and more.
